nice gallery; have some great looking renders. noticed you're from tempe. im from glendale.. haven't been to Az in years. what's the art scene like these days?
The art in tempe varies, I'm doing more 3d stuff, but if you go to pheonix for the art walks, you see a lot of crap followed by one or two things that catch your eye. everything has been done before so sometimes poeple go all out on really weird artsy fartsy stuff. I like some arsty stuff but some take it over bored. There is A LOT of damn hippies here, so a dime on the pavement can be considered "art."
I hear that. I went an art walk on one occasion.. and was far from impressed. These days, too much "fluff" is passed off as art.. something that can be thrown together in just a short time with minimal thought to the design or genuine effort into being creative. Heartfelt artists create because they truly enjoy it.. if money can be made from their talents, great; and if not.. no big deal. That's part of my philosophy anyway.
